After studying business at the University of Málaga, he moved to Lombok in 2012, where he identified the island’s potential as an emerging destination.
Drawn by its natural landscape and understated lifestyle, he began developing projects focused on both residential living and hospitality.
Since then, he has led the development of a diverse portfolio, including Kuta Baru Hotel, Kumbara Villas, Kabila Villas, Telescope Villas, and Oceano Villa — establishing a strong foundation in the local market.

After completing a double international PhD and spending over a decade in China while running a creative agency, Lucía Villalta brings a global perspective to the development of Oceano Investments.
As CEO, she leads the strategic direction of the group, overseeing brand development and the integration of design, wellness, and lifestyle across all projects.
